Legal Club Membership

What Is the Legal Club?

The Greenberg Debt Defense Legal Club is an optional monthly membership that provides consumers enrolled in qualifying debt settlement programs with direct access to licensed attorney services throughout their program. Many consumers navigate debt settlement without any legal representation — leaving them vulnerable to creditor harassment, FDCPA violations, and collector lawsuits without anyone in their corner.

The Legal Club changes that. For a modest monthly membership fee, you get ongoing attorney oversight, proactive legal monitoring, and direct attorney communication with your creditors — all from a licensed Georgia law firm.

What's Included in Your Membership

Active Legal Club members receive the following attorney services directly from Greenberg Debt Defense attorneys:

• Assigned Licensed Attorney. A licensed attorney admitted to practice in your state of residence will be assigned to your file and will provide ongoing oversight and supervision throughout your membership.
• FDCPA and TCPA Monitoring. Our attorneys will review your creditor and collector communications for potential violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). If violations are identified, we will advise you on your rights and available options — which may include pursuing claims against the collector.
• Settlement Offer Review. We will review settlement offers and creditor correspondence and provide attorney feedback on your options before you make any decisions.
• Direct Creditor Communication. Where permitted by applicable law, our attorneys will communicate directly with your creditors and collectors on your behalf, including responding to collection letters and negotiating with creditors.
• Creditor Lawsuit Evaluation. If a creditor files a lawsuit against you while you are an active member, our attorneys will promptly evaluate the matter and provide guidance on your options and available defenses.
• Client Portal Access. Members have access to our secure client portal at greenbergdebtdefense.com for document sharing, communication, and program updates.

What Is Not Included

The monthly Legal Club membership fee does not cover the following services, which require separate agreements and fees:

• Court appearances or active litigation defense in any creditor lawsuit (requires a separate Litigation Retainer Agreement)
• Bankruptcy representation or advice
• Tax advice or IRS representation
• Credit repair or credit report dispute services
• Legal representation in matters unrelated to your enrolled unsecured debts

If a creditor sues you during your membership, Firm will evaluate your case and advise you on your options. If you need courtroom representation, we will work with you to execute a separate Litigation Retainer Agreement at that time.

How Enrollment Works

Legal Club enrollment is offered as an optional add-on through qualifying debt settlement programs. If you are currently enrolled in a qualifying program, ask your program representative about adding Legal Club coverage to your account. Enrollment requires execution of a separate Legal Club Membership Agreement directly with Greenberg Debt Defense, LLC. Membership fees are collected separately from your debt settlement program fees.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Legal Club membership at any time by notifying us in writing at info@greenbergdebtdefense.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month in which notice is received. Cancellation of your Legal Club membership does not affect your separate debt settlement program enrollment. Membership fees are earned upon receipt and are non-refundable except within the 3-day cancellation period following enrollment.
